New IDNIYRA North-America Web-Site Launched:
 A new website has been launched for IDNIYRA Members.
The site allows members to update their own contact information in the IDNIYRA Membership Database, renew their membershipts on-line, register for the 2011 Gold-Cup and North-American Championship Regattas, and access a wealth of up-to-date class information.
The International Rank List for the 2011 season is now available. If you notice any errors, please send a note to: webmaster@idniyra.org

The Technical Committee has issued some new Official Interpretations. These Interpretations help clarify the Specifications on the runner Specifications.

Rehe was asked to describe how she scores a regatta using the IDNIYRA
scoring system, in particular what is affectionately known as the "Bart" rule.
Paul Goodwin has expanded on her explanation to provide a general
description of scoring a major DN regatta from the scorer's "on
the ice" perspective.

The Official Plans are now available for download! You can get the scale plans
and view them on you computer, or print them out.
The printed plans are still for sale, but this provides a low-cost option
to encourage more building.
Paul Goodwin is making his venerable scoring program available for widespread use. If you are invloved in scoring iceboat regattas, from 5 boats to 200, you need to check this out...

new version of the program is out!! If anyone has downloaded a
version prior
to February 16, 2010 please check out this new release. Lots of
improvements, plus a couple bug fixes. This release also includes
the latest sailor library with the current 2010 ranking.
Update!
Newly added - a couple short tutorials on regatta scoring using
this awesome program. The first is a beginner tutorial, aimed at
getting the new user up and running. The second is an advanced
tutorial specifically
covering regattas where the "split fleet" system based on sailor
ranking us used (Worlds and North American Champioships).

The complete Constitution and Racing
Rules of the National Iceboat Authority has been added to
the website in Adobe Acrobat format. Now there is no reason
not to read and understand these important rules ...

While I try to maintain this website and keep the information
fresh, users are able to post information on the bulletin board
themselves, providing immediate updates.
