A sustaining member is someone who goes above and beyond the standard membership fee of $27 to provide additional support for the DN Class. This extra contribution helps us fund various initiatives and maintain the high standards of our organization. We offer three levels of sustaining membership, Bronze, Silver and Gold. By choosing one of these levels, you are making a generous donation that significantly benefits the entire DN community. While all members receive the same basic benefits, sustaining members help ensure the future growth and success of our class. Your extra support is greatly appreciated!

DNs are not like soft water boats. The DN sail number does not belong to the boat -it belongs to the IDNIYRA member. If you bought a used boat you will need your own sail number. This number is also required when the members vote in IDNIYRA electronic ballots.

These 24" x 18" scale plans were first published in 1981 and still provide a competitive DN today. They were designed through a collaboration of many of the top DN builders at the time. The plans show a wood mast, although sailors racing in top competition use a composite mast today. Canadians who want scale plans should email secretary.idniyra@gmail.com for information.
