Gold Cup: Site Announcement Postponed Until Noon Friday CT
We are going to delay the announcement of the primary site until noon CT, Friday, February 15, 2019. At this point, there are no venues under consideration east of Toledo and west of Chicago. We continue to be on schedule for Saturday night registration and Sunday racing. We are still working out the logistics of the sites under consideration. Competitors need to stay off the ice on Friday to let things firm up.

Schedule of Events
- February 16, 2019, Registration
5 PM- 8 PM local time.
Location to be listed on the IDNIYRA website - February 17, 2019: First World Gold Cup race at time stated in sailing instructions.
- February 18, 2019, earliest possible North American Championship Registration:
7 PM -9 PM local time: Location and updated date, time and place to be listed on the IDNIYRA website. - February 19, 2019 earliest possible race in North American Championship, at time stated in sailing instructions.
- February 23, 2019 racing is concluded. PRIZES shall be awarded after the regatta is completed

Given the recent weather and the need to reinspect candidate sites, we need to delay our decision for 24 hours. We will make our final site selection on Thursday February 14, 2019.

The anticipation is building for the 2019 IDNIYRA Gold Cup and North American championship regattas. Are you ready? Don’t forget to bring your passport so that you are prepared for what ever nature throws our way. The Governing and Race Committee have been planning, meeting in conference calls, and watching the weather. Safe travels to all of our friends coming from Europe and Russia.

2019 GOLD CUP & NORTH AMERICANS NOTICE OF RACE & REGISTRATION
The IDNIYRA is pleased to announce the opening of the Registration Office for the 2019 Gold Cup and North American Championship regattas. Like last year, all regatta documents, a link to the registration page, and critical information will be posted on a specially dedicated page.
Early registration deadline is December 31, 2018. Register online today using Paypal or download the form and mail a check. It’s very easy!
